RC injectors sit too high up to tighten fuel rail down
I just got 440cc injectors for my 97 sohc vtec. I fit them into the fuel rail and fit them into the intake manifold seals and go to tighten down the fuel rail and I cant. The injectors sit up on the intake manifold seal, therefore making everything sit up higher. I cant even get the nut started to secure the fuel rail. One guy told me to shave a little of the intake manifold seals but I would have to shave like half of it to have it sit securely.
what do you guys think
thank you

I had the same problem and instead of setting them on top of the seals I went to the hardware store and picked up some O rings to replace them with. Worked like stock. HTH
