Default LS/VTEC

I'm in the middle of doing this project.

I heard that the block guard have coolent issues of flowing. I'm planing to boost it down the road at prob not more then 6psi on this motor. My freinds who have worked on cars as prev mechanics says for me to get the block guard but now I find out about this coolent issues thru researching on other webiste.

I want my block to be safe but I'm not going to sleeve it cause I have another motor that I'm going to start building it untill I figure out why I lost oil pressure (I replace the oil pump 2 times with ITR and the pick up tube) but it runs with no knocking noise or anything.

I'm not even sure what your asking?

Your thread is titled LS/VTEC?
Your rambling about having a block guard?
You Start talking about boost? in an all motor forum?
Then you talk about you loosing oil pressure..

Hmm, I'm Confused

I break it down.

1. Is it safe to run a block guard when I throw the head on my B18b1 block then boosting it in the near future?

2. Loosing oil pressure in my orig motor that I was going to tear it down and find out what if it can be rebuild I'm going to sleeve the block
