Default Remote Start...

So I was reading up on the remote starter kit for the 4dr civics, and was wondering why its not an option for the coupes. Aside from the fact it would take some or much tweaking to get to work on an Si, why don't the coupes have it? I would like to get this working on my Si but it says it has to be programmed at the dealer, which would suck because you have to 'know' someone there if youre going to get it installed on an Si so they don't decline it or try to void you.

anyone? comments? If anyone works or knows someone who works at a dealer would you ask them about this please.

I don't know why they don't make them for manual cars. I think they do work on auto coupe anf 4 doors.

I would love an OEM set up over a Compustar for my SI.

It is illegal to have remote start in a manual car (At least in CA)

actually let me rephrase that...it's illegal for legitimate installers to install it in your car.

It's illegal due to the number of car accidents caused by morons who leave their car in gear then use the remote start... one or the other, not both at the same time *slaps forehead*

Anyone know a tech who can give some insight on how different the install might be on auto vs manny?
