sucking up gas.

Default sucking up gas.

would a cracked cat. converter suck up my gas when i am driving? or would it be more in the combustion process?

need more info to help you out, are you getting bad gas mileage? When did it start, have you made any changes? etc.

just bought the car not to long ago. had a full tank drove 30 miles had half a tank left. i know for a fact the catalact converter has a crack in it. other then that i can not find problems.

unless you have a hole in your gas tank, thats pretty much not possible. I would bet that your gas gauge is messed up. Either the actual gauge, or the plunger thing in the tank it self, or the wiring in between. Drive till your car runs out of gas, and that will tell you, just make sure to stay close to a gas station or your house, lol

your not smelling fuel, are you? is your car running fine?

something similar happend to a friend of mine and it turned out he about a pin size hole in a fuel line
