Default Megan or DC 4-1 header?

I heard both megan and DC are pretty good headers for a reasonable price. Is it worth the extra cash to run DC?

I've been running a megan header for several years with no problem.

Why do you think the header is causing the gasket problem?

use an OEM honda metal gasket. I'm sure you'd do some head damage before you burned a hole in one of those. They're like $25 or something. Try oemhondaparts.com

OP: i used a DC 4-1 on my old B16A setup. I loved it. I got it for free....so you couldn't beat the price lol.

ok. so that's someone with warped flanges on a megan header. Something to consider, OP.

lol idunno .....I dont have anything against megan or anything. I'm just saying that it's one person's experience. Dont get crazy on me, megan guys.

If he's considering DC "extra cash", SMSP is out of the picture...If you're trying to make more power, look into the JDM type-r or even the generic tri-y ones that are in the marketplace on here (They're basically a Rage/Hytech copy).

megan is bad imo, my friend has bought 2 and both of them have cracked and and rusted holes within a year, so he had to buy 2 new ones.

cmon dude. If you were one guy who took the time to make this revolutionary header ...and someone ripped your design off, wouldn't you be pissed?

I dont do rip offs. I either pay up or do something else. The quality is never the same.

I have an ebay header on my GSR lol. But that's cuz the OEM manifold cracked. The quality has been REALLY good so far. The stainless steel is still....stainless. But the fitment was a bitch. It said it was a GSR header, but the ports were smaller than the stock GSR head ports, it was wayyy too long so i had to cut and weld the exhaust piping....and the cat flange wouldnt bolt on. SO I HAD TO WELD THE FREAKING CAT TO THE HEADER AND NOW IM STUCK WITH IT!! lol....yeah.

I think they made it for a LS or something. He offered my money back but my cracked manifold was super annoying. Whatever. it looks really nice.

Anyway....like i said before, DC makes a good product, especially for the money. I havent really had megan experience.
