Default 99 SI into a 99 DX

Well, the topic says it all, gonna buy the swap from my friends totalled SI, I can pretty much grab anything from the car. The onyl question I have is the wiring, I know that I need the main engine wiring harness but should I get any of the other wires out of the car while its there?

Just get the Si engine harness and the engine mounts. Get the Cat and header as well. There is also an extra wire harness for the 2nd O2 under the passanger side carpet. Get that too.

Should be an easy swap.

All you need is the rear tranny mount from the SI thats the only mount u need, Get the SI engine harness it has the VTEC all set for ya, and its pretty much and plug and play because both of the cars are obd2 1/2 or 3. also get the ECU thats important. if you can take other stuff i would take the power windows

What about the front tranny mount and a/c mount? He is gonna need those too, guy. Listen to Trey, he gave you the right info. The harness plugs right in. If you plan on running a p28 ecu, forget about the 2nd o2 sensor. If you are going to run the p2t si ecu, then you need to get the interior harness as well. Good luck.
