Default Buddy Club Spec IV valve/piston clearance? b16

This is an add on a previous topic from about a month or so ago. I was wondering if the BC IV cams would fit in my b16 with CTR pistons. I just got my motor back from King Motorsports and apparently they fit! With the stock headgasket as well. Just waiting on an engine hoist and I'll put it in. Will post progress soon and dyno graph as well.

no problem, they will fit. It is plenty of space betwen valves and pistons. You can mill the head a little if you like with no problems. Once i did also mill the head 0.025 using cam gears to degrees the cams in and the car is still runnig hard up to 9300 rpm. This was with regular skunk stg2 cams which have the same lift and duration in vtec like bcIV

The head was already milled 0.03 I think from the previous owner. Everyone I talked to, including the folks and King Motorsports were worried that they weren't going to fit. Good thing they do though! Once I get it back into my car I'm taking it back there to get Hondata s100 and 5 hours of tuning. Hopefully it will be done by the end of this coming week, there is a dyno challenge I'de like to take it to.

Started it up today, runs great! Getting it tuned by King Motorsports on Friday.
