Default Odd rust

I am looking ata '98 Odyssey with 110k here in the Northeast. The PO kept the the stupid rubber rear fender lip "rust keepers". Do all years of the Odyssey's have this issue just like the Accords.

I may be wrong but....

All honda's/ Acura's come with the "rust keepers" from the factory brand new.

I've always left mine on, i dont think it would prevent rust anyway if you removed them. I think rust is a sign of how well the car was maintained body wise (washing for example)

I wouldn't worry about the rust if you catch it early enough you might beable to prevent it from spreading

Rust is body cancer onmce it starts the battle is over. It will ALWAYS come back! I am looking for a cleaner van now but this one was only $7,000!!
