J's racing bar.
recently there was a post about the J's Racing pillar bar. well, courtesy of Leo aka DXLST on this board, i got my hands on one. sorry for the HORRIBLE pics
my first impressions, you'll definitely feel the difference in the rear end. from just daily driving, turning is more "precise". The rear end doesn't swing out as much if you take a hard turn. The bar will be tested a little harder on a autox course as soon as the heat calms down. but i would recommend this bar to anyone looking to stiffen up the chassis.
note: you can still use the back seatbelts but its a b!tch to bolt up the bar if you do so, and i usually do not run back seats but im carpooling with some friends for the summer...i feel sorry for the backseaters
edit: fixed pic

yes, you use the stock seat belt bolt. you also adjust the length of the bar to accomodate the use of the seat belts(which i didn't need to).
for differences in handling read first post.

I have that bar, but is not made by J's, I bought it off from a guy on HT. Is used for mouting my hardness through it. But it can also be used to stiffen up the rear a bit. I bought it for $50 used, thanx the that HT member.
I supposed you can get those c-pillar bars from Racing Craft.
I'm not too crazy about the hinges on the bracket though.
I have one, but it's made by COCKPIT. And boy let me tell you that there is absolutely NO understeer now, but instead some lift-throttle oversteer!!!! It almost feels as if I have a full roll cage in the car, it makes the car SUPER STIFF!!! <---subjective sarcasm

I have a hard time believing that this bar is strong enough for a seatbelt harness. Some one have closeups of where it bolts down to? Did you have to remove any interior trim to install it?
I'm looking for pics right now. The pic on Spirits site is crappy! I'm gonna paint mine black after I get it. Price is 9800jpy or less than $80 for you gringos. Hopefully I'll find a good pic soon.
Hmm.....will it be the same effect as my IO-port camcorder mount? It mounts at the same location and is stiff as hell! When I let others drive my car, they felt lots of differences with the camera mount + Spoon RSTB. I don't know much about the characteristics of a stock R since I didn't race with it back then....

Here's a crappy pic from the TPS site and I am still searching for a better pic. If you own a copy of Hyper Rev Vol.62 Integra No.2 there is a good pic on page 37.

Yeah...and people always thought I took off my rear seat to save weight...
You people need more backbone. Is it too hard to say:
"Look your not riding in my car don't even think about it."

Thanx for the pic Reid! Backseat, what is that? Rollcage, seatbelt harness, easy access panel for fuel pump and amp board leave no room for a back seat!
