Help CRX JDM whole front end conversion?
it will come with everything. i recommend hmotorsonline.com they have great stuff and i've only heard good things about them. ur hood probably wont close tho. mine didnt at first. im going to use hood pins but u can modify the hood latch to close.

p.s. use hood pins even if u get it to latch cuz that is one expensive hood u dont want to have to replace

All you need is the JDM Hood, Lights, and bumper...you can use your stock Fenders, and Rad Support. You also don't need hoodpins. All you have to do is play around with the latch and the striker and you will be golden!
If you get the right parts and line them up correctly there won't be a need for ugly hood pins on a factory hood.
Get the JDM Radiator support and you will be fine. If you can't get it to line up...have a qualified body shop line everything up for you.

if ur gonna go with the conversion u mite run into a problem at the end wen u find out ur hood isnt closing even tho u have the the SiR T-bar. the latch ends up like 1-2 inches in front of the lock on the t-bar.
if this happens then just dremel the hood latch bracket towards the firewall and dremel the hoodlock on the t-bar to go forward. it just takes patience and fabrication to get it right.
i ddnt hear about this problem until i ran into it. try using spacers on the 4 bolts on the ends of the t-bar to help out too.
i was tryin to find the thread that helpd me alot but just couldnt find it. its on jdmcivic.com b/c idk anyone on HT that posted on yet or not that i know of.

only reason i stated hood pins is that i know 3 people who have had their ef's front end converted and within a minth the hood would open at freeway speeds. its not that u need them.

Maybe they need to check everything over and make sure that they have the striker adjusted properly...I have done two front end conversions on my own vehicles. One on an EF7 Zc to SiR and the other an 91 Si to EF9 front end. Never had an issue with a hood flying open.
It took me about 30 minutes to get it to close and lock in properly. Never had an issue.
Its a lot more than just putting it all on and calling it a day. You have to pay attention to the details and make sure it is right.
