How about the stock crv ecu?

Cheap exhaust = muffler shop.

The crv is automatic it wont work. Get a chipped p28 and run a basemap or tune.

ive got a b20 hatch and the ls ecu is hands down the best out there for a oem ecu. theres been a few articles on b20 chips, but the general idea is that unless its going to be dyno'd b20 chips dont really work all too well

if i put the head on there i dont know how reliable and id have to waste time gettin it sleeved and gettin the head worked on. i just need a reliable car for now till i get more money to rework everything..

If you are keeping the block stock and just swapping on a vtec head you dont have to sleeve the motor. Just check out this thread its for an LS/Vtec but with a B20 it the same idea. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1676914
