Default d16y7 head on d16a6 block smokes

I got oil in the coolant. Oil coming for the headers. Any helpful tips Anybody?

Could be a bad headgasket, rocker arm seals, valve stem seals or spark plug tube seals. There's not enough info to tell though.

Which headgasket did you use?

If hes got oil coming out by the header id say bad/wrong headgasket would be the first thing to check. Also that the head is torqued down properly and that neither the head nor the block are warped.

head has been surfaced and test by a machine shop. I used a new D16y7 head gasket and torqued it down by the book. I used the studs from the D16a6 block.

Isn't there a oil passage or something you need to block off when you swap the heads? Maybe thats your problem.
