is that right if i remove that its just for my aircon


its a sir eg9 4 door dohc vtec

 

yes if you are trying to take off the compressor, but there is also 2 more bolts on the underside of the compressor and also take off the belt.

 

so that belt is just for a/c so i can take that off?

yeah you can cut that belt off too, sorry i just saw your drawing for that, the ac is the only thing it drives and frankly i consider it a waste of time to try and salvage it unless it were brand new and you had someone standing 3 feet away saying they would buy it and had cash in hand.

 

well I would try to salvage the belt personally..
but I am a bit of the type that hates to throw stuff away.

bit of extra work though, that's true.
but if ur planning on putting it back on later, you'll need to know what bolts to turn to install that belt anyways.
