so in the first episode when he is taking out the carpet, what is that layer of stuff he is removing? is that some sort of composite material on top of the floor metal? is that sound deadening material? is it the top layer of sheet metal?
also, on the rear drivers quarter panel when he takes the top layer of paint he starts flaking some big stuff off and then he hlods up a piecfe and shows the camera how thick it is. is that bondo from a previous repair?

I don't believe its actually rust. They are using POR15 metalready which I know does some funky chemical reaction type stuff. Even if it was rust that POR15 owns light rust. POR15 is an amazing product with lots of pretty sweet accompanying products that are used with it. Definitely gonna buy gallons of POR15 in the future to resto the CRX. (My CRX is kinda like that 240.. looks good but underneath the skin lies many hidden spots of lame-ness)

I think its a acid for metal etching, and then they clean the metal after with the water. i dont think its rust- but if it is those guys definately know what to do, and im sure its sanded down or something?

Wow, wtf? That car's body was junk...I hope he got most of his money back
My brother recently replaced some guy's 2007 viper frame (no kidding) - THAT was cost effective, but this...holy crap.
