Default Crank sensor vs no crank sensor

I am installing a used engine in my friends 1996 prelude. I'll get right to the point the OEM engine has a crank sensor mounted to the oil pump housing. The junk yard engint has no provision for a crank sensor. Are the engines interchangeable? If I get a new oil pump housing -Is everthing else the same as far as the cams and short block??? The OEM engine is H22A4 and the junk yard engine is a H22A if that helps. The junk yard can not help me~

The H22A4 is OBDII as where the jy engine is more than likely a OBDI engine. on the JDM H22A OBDI the crank sensor is in the distributor. To answer your question, the rest should be the same. I would swap the A4's intake manifold and throttle body onto the H22A's head. and use the A4's wiring and Distibutor. and yeah get a new oil pump housing.
