Default Clutch for All Motor Build

So I just fininshed building my botor
B18c1
Fully Built Head: Dual Valve Springs, Retainers, Flat Faced Valves, Skunk 2 Stage 2 Cams and Skunk 2 Cam Gears 2 Layer Headgasket Blox Intake Manifold and Hondata Intake Gasket Short Ram Intake with Vstack on the end
Block:JDM OS P30 pistons New Rod Bearings Arp Rod Bolts Micropolished Crank
Gsr Tranny

So Now the tranny wont go into gear at all so We believe its the pressure plate because the clutch was changed but I believe the pressure plate was still stock so now its time to upgrade my clutch....We bled the clutch fluid and also changed the tranny fluid and still wont work?

What do you guys think is good ACT Clutch Extreme Pressure plate and 6 puck disk? This is a daily drive and Im in new york so traffic is there sometimes. I also plan on adding a final drive 4.7 to in a few months but I gotta get this clutch first

Any recommendations are great thanks

My engine setup is very similar to yours.

I'm currenty running a Competition Clutch Stage 2 (2100 Kevlar Series, standard pressure plate) (King Motorsports ), geared with MFactory 1, 3, 4 - ITR 2, 5 - MFactory 4.9 FD, rounded out with a Comptech flywheel and Quaife diff.

Love the Comp Clutch - it replaced an Action Stage1 (Kevlar) - much smoother engagement into first, and it's drivable in White Plains.

if there is alot of traffic then i wouldnt think about a 6 puck, but just a good street disc and pressure plate. i have a 6 puck but i dont drive in traffic.

ACT stage 2 or any stage 2 like competition or action is good. I personally like ACT and competition.

act HD/SS should work just fine for a dd, but if its just a strip car you can get away with a 6 or 4 puck unsprung...

A 6 puck disk has less surface than a street dis kwhich causes it to make less contact with the pressure plate/flywheel. That is why a 6 puck cluutch is not recommended for daily driven applications.

the guy who builds my motors say the heavy duty pp and 6 puck should be good. and as far engagement......

lets say for example we are at a stop light and its about to turn green... put foot on clutch and other foot and gas... tap the gas a little while slowly disengaging the clutch and your off. like i dont under stand what harse engagement meaans
