b series swap shift linkage question
Will any b series shift linkage work? I am swapping a b18b1 into my '93 si, and was wondering if I got a shifter from a 93 integra if it would still work, should be the same lenth and everything, and I don't see a reason why it wouldn't, but figured I'd throw it out here for some feedback.
i know for sure 94 up integra will fit.but i have heard da integra will fit too.and i know for sure del sol vtet (b16a2) wont fit cause it is too short
Yea I know del sol/crx shifters won't work cuz of the size of the cars, but from a DA Integra it should be the same length. Anybody tried it?

any b-series linkage EXCEPT the obvious CR-V linkage (when equipped with a M/T) and a Del Sol VTEC shift linkage will not work either as they are different. i'm not sure about the DA integra linkage though.
i was told my whipfactory that if your puttin a B in a 92-95 civic you get eveything for a 94-01 integra ONLY... cause thats what im doing and im not saying your wrong.. but there more right

Why are they "more right"? They are right, however half right is still right i guess.
It's just easier to think when putting a b-series in a 5th gen civic you will always be in better shape sticking with parts from it's b-series counterpart the 94-01 integra. Certain things like A/C brackets and what not will be interchangeable regardless but save yourself the hassle and buy factory integra stuff. If you think about it stripped engine bays i'll bet you 9 times out of 10 you won't be able to tell the difference between a 94-01 integra and 92-95 civic.

To correct some people, 90-93 Integra shift linkages will work.
