I NEED HELP with: '91 Civic Si Headlight Replacing!
How do replace my headlights on my '91 civic? I thought I'd just have to pop the hood, take off the "accessible" bolts, pop the old headlight out, and put the new headlight in. The manual doesn't tell me anything? I saw a thread about possibly having to remove the bumper!? Can you please help me out with a descriptive walk through guide on how to do this? Thanks very much. It's a '91 Honda Civic Si!
I removed mine to clean some rust crap out of the inside of the lenses. Not sure if there's a better way but I removed the bumper like you said...it's not that hard. Take out the turn signals and you'll see 2 bolts behind each one. Also the bolt on the bottom center (bottom of hood latch vertical support) and 2 on the underside (behind bottom lip). There's also 2 screws in each wheel well area that hold the bumper cover on. Then you can get at the bolts that hold the bottom of the head lights.
If you want to replace the whole headlight assamble yes you have to take the bumper off there are bolts under the headlight as well. the bumper is only held on by6- 8 screw/bolts take it off with the support still inside
I just loosened the bumper and got an extension for my ratchet. If i remember correctly there was just one more bolt that needs to be removed to get to the headlight once you can move the bumper around.
Thanks so much everybody! Your responses helped me so much! I was also wondering if you guys could answer another question for me. I was looking under the hoods of Civics at local junkyards for parts, and noticed that almost all of them were equipped with "dual" PG-Fuel Injectors? I just have a PG-Fuel Injector? Should I grab one of these and try and install it on my car, or is it not worth it? Thanks! :D

No, no no. Stay away from those.
What you saw were Dual-Point Fuel Injected vehicles (DPFI), they came in the lower end models. You have Multi-Point Fuel Injection (MPFI) on your Si, which means more injectors, a better intake manifold and more HP.
