Default who's got a greddy kit on a 5th gen on here?

anybody with a 5th gen prelude running a greddy kit trying to see what kind of hp tq your putting down. Im running 8psi with a hondata s300 right now and putting down 219whp and 200wtq it has a 2.5 inch exhaust with a crappy muffler that is killing it, trying to see if thats my problem or something else, car has great power low end but when you rip it above 5000 the power dies

the greddy kit isnt the greatest for making alot of power.

the horsepower and torque are not relevant to other motors and dynos.

post your graph. Who tuned it?

It is essential that you run a 3" exhaust... your killn your car right now lol. I dont think there is any problem but talk to people like Boost Addict about his setup. He made 262whp @ 8 or 9 pounds with Hondata. PM him. He also had a 3" cat back exhaust. Good luck

it also has to do with your turbo size.. the turbo that comes with the greddy kit is pretty weak. there is a guy on preludeonline that ran one on his built motor and tested it, it only made like 240 or 250 peak power. So he built a new setup.

Well with these dinky turbos the exhaust is very important. Mykizism said he pushed almost 300whp outta the little thing with a built block. 3" turbo back or nothing.

It is much needed. Relieve as much back pressure as possible.

17whp/22tq@7-8psi on my friends turbo 4th gen by switching from an RSR exhaust to a Vibrant 3"/Muffler. Not to mention Boost+Vibrant=Sweetness sound!
We were at 240+ when everything was said and done....tuned with a VAFC+Stock P13+DSM 440's!
