Mounting spoiler
Got my OEM spoiler painted for my Del Sol.
Now I just need to mount it, but running into a few problems.
A.) Was told there should already be a spot marked to drill the holes, but I can't find them. So I need some sort of template or something.....
But the big issue is, do I just have to drill 4 holes and bolt it on? Or how should I go about preventing them from letting water in / rusting up?

Put masking tape down, place spoiler on trunk, trace around mounting points. Measure out the holes, mark on tape where holes are, drill. Use clear silicone glue on base of spoiler mount, remove tape from trunk, mount spoiler.
Thanks, but rather see if I can't find where its really supposed to be mounted, if theres already a spot for it, I don't want to go drillin' holes somewhere else - know what I mean?
Now that would be pimp ****.
Kind of angry, got a killer deal on the OEM spoiler, figured it was going to be less to get a used one and have it fixed up and painted.
Everywhere I saw online it was $300 bucks to get a replica painted the color of my car.
So I ebay'd one from someone parting out their car, took it to get it paited, shop said under $100 bucks easy.
Well the ******s hit me up with a $243.00 bill.....wasn't happy.
Then they wanted another $80 to install it, and havn't had any luck with any other local shops, so looks like I get to do it myself ><
Anyway, long story short - should of just bought a replica, would of been cheaper.
But thanks for the info

The spoiler comes with the template, not the instructions.

Why would the autoparts tore have it?
You're going to have to find someone else with the spoiler already who's willing to make a template if you want an exact template.
I was hoping the instructions might help you a bit at least, but I guess not. (And yes, Honda can print directions out for you. If they said they can't, call another dealership or talk to someone else.)
