Why is my check engine light comes on when I past 8000rpm. My P28 is chipped for DOHC with no rev limit.

i forsee that becoming another problem for you soon

 

my CEL is a shift light on my ecu program....

 

why do you have no rev limiter? I think your motor will be done before the end of the year.
