crazy idea... muffler = intake?

for those of you who knows what the "bullet" muffler is

its supposed to quiet down an exhaust right...

would it affect the sound produced by a cai???

If you want to quiet down your intake, install the stock counter part intake arm and air box along with its resonator. Cars stock from the factory come with thier own 'mufflers' they're called 'resonators'.
