i dont know if its just because its getting cold in the mornings, but i always let my car warm up for about 5 minutes, but this morning when it was warming up the idle was just bouncing. it would go up to abotu 2k then fall to about 1200. it did it about 50 times. stopped eventually, i just want to get it fixed if it will be a major problem. thanks for the help guys.

 

sounds like cold run valve or what ever they call it, it is located under and at the mouth of the tb. i had same problem. or check your coolant hondas will idle funny with low coolant. those 2 things i would check if it go's away when car is warmed up.

check your FITV(fast idle thermo valve).

agreed with FITV cuz i have the exact same idle bounce
