ive searched all over but i cant find out if i need to change the axle's if im gonna put a k-series swap into my EK..... i read that u need it for the eg

i checked out k20a.org but def havent gotten through everything

sorry dude but i dont no that much about axles could u explain a lil better.... i jus got a crazy deal for a jdm k20a.... 1500 for everything..... but no axles

That is a crazy *** deal, its either unreal or stolen. But if your a lucky one to have gotten a legit k20a swap for 1500 search k20a.org and go through someones EK K series swap. I would find you a link but my girl is harassing me to get on the comp.

thanks alot guys ...this just got dropped on me today.... never thought i would be able to afford this motor swap.... so i havent gotten up on all the knowledge needed... once again thanks for the info
question: what would a d16y8 w/ 91xxx miles, new tranny and refinished clutch hav about 5000 miles be worth

*my best friend owns a junk yard and he jus got 2 of them in hes taking 1 and giving me the other

i dont even know. my cousin is a fully trained mechanic and he can put it in but i gotta see how much he wants. how much does the instalation usually go for?

Swap usually goes for $5000 from a retailers.

The rule of thumb for k swaps is $10,000 total installed by a pro. Maybe 7,000-8,000 if you do it yourself.

I've yet to be shown much evidence of a k swap being done for less than $7,000. That's the cheapest I've seen. But I don't see a whole lot of k traffic.
