Engine upgrade for 1990 honda civic dx 4dr

What would be the best motor to swap for a little bit more power and easy to do?
What would be cheapest way to do this?

That, and read the FAQ at the top of the page.

Keep the same engine and do the dpfi to mpfi swap.

That should be first.

i want to do a full motor swap not just parts on my stock motor

It's cheaper then a swap and will help. Then what ever swap your little heart will be ready.

unless you carb or something....
