Default Obd0 to Obd1 conversion, now fuel pump problems!!?!

I just installed a rywire harness (from mr_crx i believe) , converted to an obd1 distributor, p72 ecu, soldered just the vtec wires. then when i went to start the car the fuel pump did not prime. i dont know what to do next. anyone know?

the plot thickens though. when i plugged in the far right plug into the ecu it would not go it. stupid me i tried to force it. when i pulled it out, one of the pins was bent. i bent it back pretty much straight. straight enough that i had a hard time telling which one was originally bent. when i plugged it back in it went in and clicked with no problems. but still no furl pump.

could this be the problem? anyone know what pin, on the ecu, reads the fuel pump?

it should not be related, unless the harness is pinned really wrong.

Have you checked for any blown fuses? Specifically the alt/sp fuse under the dash?

x2. Ryan could make those harnesses while sleeping. I would guess the main relay as well.

if you undo the conversion harness and plug in your stock ecu does it prime? because when you do the conversion the only thing that changes really is the dizzy. like 88-91 si is a 24 tooth crank angle sensor, a obd1 is something like 26. So in you still should be able to plug in the 88-91 si ecu and hear it prime up the pump. if not it's your main relay. take it apart and add new solder to all solder points.

unless it's a fault in the conversion harness. i just finshed my obd0 dpfi to the obd1 mpfi conversion a few weeks ago. it's simple.

My relay started buzzing also but that was after i got my ecu chipped... but he rechipped it & it was fine. But my jumper harness had the speed sensor in the wrong pin so i just switched it.
