squeaky clutch

Default squeaky clutch

ive been noticing a strange squeak that come from the clutch when i press it down... what could ie be? could i be the slave cylinder?

The ball end of the slave cylinder needs to be lubricated with high temp grease.

I would have never thought the ball itself needed lubricating. I too have this loud squeak. It can't really be noticed though when the engine is on though. Never bothered me enough to even try to fix it, but now I'm gonna go and try lubricating that ball since it cant hurt (I never once lubricated that ball lol)

Umm, I hope that wasnt taken the wrong way. Maybe lube, **** and ball shouldnt be used in the same sentence *shrugs*
