Crome / RomEditor question. Does it show what part of map is being used?

So far, I have only tuned with Hondata S300.
I am in the process of getting the dealer kit for the Hondata, but don't have the equipment yet.
My question is, when using Crome, will the cells that the engine is using be shown in the program in real time and move around like on the SManager software?
Also, will that be the same for the RomEditor software?
I know that Crome Pro has datalogging, but didn't know how that data gets incorporated into the tuning software.

If you purchase the crome pro package it will trace the cell that it is reading from as long as you have a datalogging usb/ serial cable hooked up correctly of course

is there any datalogging hardware required? Or does the cable connect directly to the CN2 port on the soldered on pins on the ecu?
I use hondalog which is available from moates.net
the hondalog connects to the cn2 pins, and your usb plugs into that and plugs into your laptop. If you plan to tune be sure to get an ostrich or similar device otherwise you will spend hours among hours trying to tune.
