Big difference in the old Hasport mount kit and the new one?
What is the difference in the two versions?
Are there different fitment issues?
I managed to get the older one, not used, for $320. I plan on using it on my GSR motor. The older version won't require me to weld anything, correct? How is the vibration of it? Thanks for the info.

i heard the new ones have one piece polyurathain mounts...they also offer a billet aluminum mount that looks sick. as far as i kno no hasport mounts require welding...but then again i have the place kit
the only bad things i have heard about hasport is that the polyurethane mounts start to sag. my friend c-los has a B18C5 91 SI hatch and his motor is sagging nasty. his motor twists in the engine bay wayyyy too easy. i would consider trying to have some place racing bushing pressed into place.
none do, but the new billet kit, which i have, is rumored to place the motor about an inch higher in the back. don't know why. yes, the new mounts have one piece poly inserts. vibrations aren't that bad at all.
I had a B16 swap from HASport and the mounts I had were one of the first sets of mounts for an 84-87 B series. They never sagged and placement of the motor was fine. I think the old mounts were good but theyve gotten even better with the one piece poly inserts. HASport mount kits require no welding.
