What does an oversized valve do? Swapping the head will cause less power. As far as i know the b16 head is one of the best flowing heads. Swap the block to a larger capacity B series such as a b18 or a b20 out of an integra or CRV, fit your b16 head and you have yourself an ls/vtec swap.

your only option for more power would be forced induction, nitrous, or an ls/vtec b20/vtec
keep in mind these can get expensive to build correctly, but will increase your displacement and available power.
you will need to modify either of those blocks to accept a vtec head.
do a search guy, pleanty of info on both.

There is a ton you can do, disregard the other posts.
How much $$ are you willing to spend and what kinda gains do you want? How much power do you need any rules or laws you have to follow?
Where do you want your power band?
Come up with almost anything you could want out of the car and your budget we can help from there.
