h22 swap into my 95 hatch

Default h22 swap into my 95 hatch

i found a h22 but i was told it was not a vtec it in a 96 prelude it has an automatic trans.
my car has a d15 with a 5speed what do i need to put this moter in my car(i know moter mounts)i mean wiring do i need a different trans please help(by the way the moter is still in the car at the junkyard i have not seen the moter yet i pick the car up in a week it was only 250.00 thanks

It's likely you have the h23 non-vtec. You could mate a manual tranny to it and raise the compression to make good power. But I really think you'd be better off selling the swap and getting an h22 with an h22 tranny or going with an h2b swap if you like h22's.

save your money and find a good 5 speed h22 swap if you really want that. dont buy an automatic car and spend all that money getting it to work and finding parts. just my .02cents
