Oh, shut it. There is no feasible explanation to remove fully functioning A/C from a vehicle unless it's a pure drag car. Unless you live in a climate where it never gets warmer than 60F, that is.
I'm not 100% on it, but a 88-91 Civic/CRX belt should work fine.

Belt tensioner should be the same as a Civic/CRX.

Take it somewhere if you have no experience with it. Otherwise, if you can buy refrigerant at your auto parts stores in PA, you can get a refill kit and follow this write-up:

You'll also need new o-rings and a dryer.

dont even touch that ac system without experience...if there is R-12 refrigerant in it (commonly called freon) and you release that into the atmosphere, that **** literally eats ozone....i kinda like my earth...enough to tell one guy to just get the ac serviced professionally.....the technician will be able to check the whole system for leaks and it will ensure that you have your precious a/c....unless of course your system was converted to r 134a (which i doubt being a jdm engine and pre 1994) your average joe blow mechanic can service r 134a safely...just dont expletive with r 12 alright?

x2
Take it to a pro. He'll suck out everything, put it under vaccum, check for leaks, then refill it. Depending on whether theres freon already in it you may not need to change the drier. If theres nothing in the system then it is recommended to replace it first.

so this being a swap should i just take it to any ac shop or would u guys suggest a tuning shop either way does anyone have any suggestions about shops around south central pa or zip 17201 thanx
Any A/C shop will be able to do the work, being that a DOHC ZC should take all of the exact same components as a regular '88-91 D-series A/C system.
