Default Dumptube fabrication. Anyone use the flexible exhaust stuff?

Hey guys. I need to fab a dumptube for my car. I have seen it mentioned that some people use the flexible exhaust piping that they sell at autozone like this.

I mean I am sure its not ideal but how well does it work? Worth doing? It wouldn't be permanent but maybe a month or two untill a make a dumptube.

Thanks

yeah it works. ive run it before and have a friend currently using it. you cant really weld it but to extend your dumptube or something it will work. ive never run it right off the wastegate, i dunno if that gets too hot for it or not

yeah I use it so does my buddy. I painted mine flat black with some high heat paint and it seems to hold up. It works fine and is cheap.

ive ran it before and it works as any other dump pipe..think about it, its an exhaust pipe ment for gases and heat, why would'nt it work?

also to add to that its not like its always being heated up its only when you hit full boost but yes it works just as well, IMO doesnt look as good but gets the job done the same way

We have ran these on a couple cars. I actually ran one on my personal car. Cut, tig welded and ran past my oil pan. Quick, easy and worked great
