I have found a company that sells a IAT gauge with a probe bit its pretty pricey. I'm just curious to see how certain modifications to my intake would change the temperature. Is there a cheaper alternative? It doesn't have to be extremelly accurate. I was thinking about inserting a A/C vent thermometer into the hole I capped off for my PCV fresh air port on the intake. I'm just worried about picking up heat from the intake piping itself or ambient engine temps.
