Dont use starter fluid..... If it wont run with normal fuel/air then something is wrong.

What is the compression?

i dont feel like typing out what a tps is, so heres a web definition-
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T...ensor
OR
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR (TPS)
The Throttle Position Sensor (or TPS) tells the computer how hard you’re stepping on the gas pedal so that the computer can match fuel delivery to the volume of air and ignition timing load. On electronically shifted transmissions, this sensor is intricately involved in the shifting strategy. For instance, the TPS “reads” when the gas pedal is depressed, sending a message to the computer that there is a need for acceleration; the transmission is commanded to select the correct transmission gear based on the load it “sees.” When you’re cruising without the need for acceleration, the TPS tells the transmission to maintain its gear.</TD></TR></TABLE>
