Default ABS indicator light wont go off

at first, when i started my car, my ABS indicator light went on and didnt turn off. my brakes still worked, even ABS did, i tried it. after i read my helms manual, it said to check the DTC signal so that i can diagnose the problem.

following the flow chart in the helms manual, it said i have to remove the ABS fail-safe relay thats located under the dash near the driver's side door and above all the fuses within that fuse panel.

my question is: how do i remove that damn ABS Fail-Safe Relay??? i twiddled with it for like 40 minutes without success. anyone ever done this before??? any help would be appreciated! thanks!
