Does anyone know how to safely remove the overhead slider on the sun/moon roof and replace it? How does it come off without damaging anything?

I need to replace mine, as it has gotten sunburnt and toasty. The material on the glass side is starting to flake off in little pieces.

 

I figure you're referring to the sunshade flaking from sun damage on the front edge.
