Ok I am about to buy a turbo for my gsr and this may be a stupid question but I dont know to much about turbos. so my question is a wastegate opens up to control boost on the exhaust side and a bov controls boost on intake side of turbo so if that is there only job then do you have to run both of them. and also wondering what people are running as far as turbo setups on gsr with out tune (hondata or something) plan on getting some 550cc and regulator to help contol fuel going in and only plan on running 10psi so any info is greatly appreciated. thanks

if you plan to run injectors that big and boost without a tune you're in for a world of hurt. you need to do lots of reading. start here: https://honda-tech.com/zeroforum/16

 

yeah and tuning is sooo key here. the best thing to do personally is go to the shop you plan on getting the car tuned at, ask what would be the best for your setup, I.E. injector size, turbo size....etc.. they may end up saving you alot of money in the long run by steering you away from unneccessary purchases.

good point, i forgot the make sure it's a reputable shop....not sure if you guys are familiar with SlowboyRacing from around where i live (PA) but yeah expletive that place.
