gsr rear brakes into 94 hatch

Default gsr rear brakes into 94 hatch

ok i got a 94 civic hatch with b16 front brakes and im puttin gsr rear discs on it.. now i have herd u can use the stock master cylinder but then i hear it better to use the gsr one and the gsr proport valve.. and sugestions???

wtf are "b16" brakes?????
all 94+ integras (non-r) have the same brakes (gsr is not special)

this topic has been beaten to death, i suggest you do some research on the topic by searching.

You dont have to change either mc or prop btw...its recommended by some, but not required

b16 disc brakes like a 2000si they bigger then the stock cx brakes that came on the car.. and so yeah i ahve to get new master cylinder

Yeah those are ex/si brakes (meaning the si brakes arent special either)

if youre using those, you should have upgraded to the 7/8" mc already...which you could get away with using.
You cant just use an integra mc without the booster as well - you can use a 91 civic ex sedan mc w/o swapping boosters though

again, you need to do Research not just ask questions that have already been answered again and again

ok so i did the swap went smoothly and i used to the stock.. 13/16 master cyclinder in my hatch.. there was a friggin huge differance in stoppin and control.. but it is a pain in the *** gettin the ebrake lines under the heat sheild. just gotta work with it.. but yeah got any ? bout it jsut ask.
