Trying to rig up a filter for my turbo, I cut up a old intake I had laying around but its only 2 1/2 on the inside and my turbo inlet is 2 5/8. Would that 1/8 make a difference u think, trying to find out before I go buy the filter to fit.

 

I don't see 1/8 being your concerned, hacking and rigging up would concern me more. Don't want that turbo sucking any filter in.

 

trust me im not going to be using a cheap filter, thats why I would like to know if the size of the pipe is good before I go out and pay $50 for a kn.
