#670 Theft Update #2,3049
Well, I was back at the dealer again today....(Buying oil filters for GSRgrrls car) and I noticed from a distance that the hood on my R was half open.
Guess what!
Uon closer inspection, the hood had been prybarred open. (Keep in mind the car is UNLOCKED!) They opened the hood, Removed the complete HEAD, radiator, Intake manifold, Exhaust, ECU, Rear Wing, Clear corners(Finally), and god knows what else from under the hood. (I didn't open the hood, because I didn't want to touch the car (Seeing as how allied already "Thinks" I am involved, I didn't want to put my prints on it.)
This pretty much settles it...#670 is dead and gone forever....
Everyone in Nor-Cal please keep an eye open for a PY ITR wing, and people that have recently "Acquired" a ITR head.
I HATE THIEVES. I AM SORRY I EVER OWNED THE DAMN CAR! I will NEVER own another integra simply because the god-damn parts fit in every honda/acura made.

It won't end until your car is nothing but a bare shell, at which point your insurance company will continue to point the finger at you.
I REALLY feel for you man. I can't imagine what it must be like.

While at Prestige, the car has been broken into a minimum of 3 times.
1st time: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=148293
2nd Time they stole the taillights.
and now this time...
Nice way to care for a customers car huh?

It's too bad you don't, but don't regret owning the car...where else would you have met all of your H-T/ITR friends and enemies?
Jeebus...
Dion, I hate seeing any update on your thieved car threads, because they always turn out sooo bad
I really hope you can put this behind you soon...

WTFH?! Doesn't the dealership even give a damn that a customer's car is being stripped due to their negligance? Is there any way to make some sort of case out this? Maybe call Honda of America or something....Sorry to hear about your car though, thats just ***.
i'd call the cops and file a theft report. this would make the dealership be a little more responsible, plus you'd have hard evidence in your defense, and the same for any other legal matter...filing a claim or whatever. this is the stupidest sh*t i've ever heard happen at a dealership. you should contact the dealership's regional manager after you file a police report. honda sends out surveys just to hear about your experience at the dealership's service department... this is just f*ckin wrong...i'm sorry
It pains me to hear of the continued defilement of your car.
However, before blaming Acura for the parts-interchangeability (which, after all, allowed them to make the ITR viable to build from a cost standpoint) I'd blame law enforcement for encouraging theft by their lack of action. It should be difficult to get away with selling stolen auto parts, especially large drivetrain parts which often have identification numbers, but unfortunately it is disgustingly easy. The fuzz just doesn't seem interested in stemming theft.
The combined actions of the insurance company and the dealership are simply reprehensible, and could very well define the term "gross negligence."
All I can say is that hopefully Karma does exist, because if it does a lot of people are in for a righteous ***-******* at the hands of an all time champion rapist known as fate.
