Finally i got my DYNO...but whats up?
check it out....my mods are on my signature.
after some tuning on the dynojet, i only pulled out 150hp to the wheels. whats up with that? i was at least expecting 160. could my motor just be old? why would it be so weak?
TIA

150 to the wheels is not bad that is average with those mods, not above average but not awful. But with the head milles your base cam timming might need to be tweaked, also your distributor timming should be bumped up, at least 19 degrees with stock b16 should help peak power, Jason

I think I did that one.
That one I think had the rings going bad. Also the rev limiter was at 8k, and the graph was still going up.
Timing was above stock, so that was not a problem. Tried several passes, car was stuck at 150 all day,

i didnt know mispelling was that important... i think i was looking at my phone when i was making the profile. but anyways, i got it dynoed at ATOMIC PERFORMANCE (importbuilders). the motor is about 2 years old so im thinkin it could be the piston rings. but i say screw it, maybee im better off with a newer motor.
any ideas what your IM temp was...i found that made a difference with mine...also was it humid out or cold that will make a difference as well.....150 is what my gsr with i/h/e made on a mustang dyno so its not that bad
Hey jeff, Do you work at importbuilders? If yes, How can I get a hold of you, I need to get some cams tuned but everytime I call you guys, I get a machine. I have tried e-mailing you guys too but, no response back. Thanks!
lol...what happened to that wonderful service jeff promised ??? find out its impossible when your running on other peoples time schedules ??? machine shops ? vendors ??? not possible huh ?
A quick way to help figure out the condition of your engine is to do a "leakdown test." This would aid you in figuring out if you engine is "tired" or not.

so before blaming the motor check the simple things first liek fuel pump, etc... also which injectors stock b16a peak/hold or the newer 92+ saturated ? that will make a difference also.
