my car needs helpppp!!!!
ok so i just bought a 2000 4 door... and the thing is mint tranny and everything but today i was hearing a wierd sound like around my pedals its like a loud clicking sound and its even worse as the rpm's get higher and when i first start the car in 1st gear it like wants to turn off my guess is the throw out bearing... i was going downhill and the car was in neutral then when i reached the bottom of the hill i threw it into 3rd and the car wouldnt go into any gear and the tranny doesnt even grind in any gear it is mint... now the car wont even turn on i think my clutch and throw out bearing are gone what u guys think?

why not???? u need a clutch to start your car... u need to release the clutch to start the car and im guessing its not releasing do to the throw out bearing but i could be wrong a car without a clutch cannot run... not even turn on

You only need to depress the clutch to start the car, because there is relay. Its just an electrical failsafe so you dont start the car in gear. Even with a toast clutch your car will still start. When you put your car in third at the bottem of the hill did you happen to over rev the motor?
i might hav over revved the motor but i doubt it because this car's motor was rebuilt and im damn sure it was rebuilt the wrong way i can hear the valves or something pinging in the motor so its not the clutch your right the motor is just done
Do you have a hole in your block??? It really sounds like you might have thrown a rod. Loud clanking in the engine bay sounds like a rod bearing followed by louder clanking and then the car wont start. I think you have internal problems especially if you think you could have over reved.
