I put 2 quarts of Redline oil in my transmission because that's how much I had, no oil was coming out but I though b-sereis only needed 2L.

Usually never needs more then that, but what "Redline oil" did you put in it?

 

It was a yellow bottled 75w90 and it had the fritction additive for my spoon dif!

Thats what I though but my ATS 3-4-5th gear make a loud winding noise!!!!

New gears will usually do that, but not TOO loud... Does it sound like the reverse gear? Or higher pitched?

 

Higher pitch in 4th and 5th!

yeah my mfactory gears sound like that too, i'm wondering if changing to another oil will quiet it down.

 

is the 75w90 to thick ?

i am running 5w30 in my tranny should i change it?

there is a lil weight difference.

 

ok so 500km later and my trany is still in one piece lol If shifting above 8800 rpm to quickly my syncros grind....could it be the oil? (I also put some Red line heavy shock proof gear oil in the mix)

 

Technically you are supposed to use 2.3L.

FYI: It is better to overfill then underfill our manual Honda trannys.
