does anybody know if a type r header clears the factory crossmember?

LOL, I just posted a how-to on this exact topic, though I believe the OEM ITR fits a little better than my aftermarket version. My thread is locked right now cause CRX toad is doing something with the boards and doesn't want it posted on yet, I think he's going to add it to FAQ.

The US model is a 4-2-1 and yes it fits fine, at least it did on my car. your mounts might place the motor back or forward more depending on the brand.
