Should i run rebuilt engine with old motors turbo set up?
replaced the motor in my car from a d15b7 to a d15b2 thats completely rebuilt with stock oem parts, wondering if i should run it N/a for the break in or if i'm save to run the old setup and not getting into boost. i have an IHI .50 setup on a HF manifold so its not a huge set up going on the motor.
i would break it in the way your gonna drive it. The break in period is just to seat the rings....there is no better way then to boost it
there is a good article in tech on how to break in a motor

should i use 10-40 petroleum oil? i've read it in the tech write up then to use your preferred oil. i guess i'll be running my turbo on the motor but going to make sure i dont go over 3K RPMS
