Default Fat Fives painted

I have some fat fives that were painted terribly. I want to bring them back to the stock color. My question is will paint stripper do that with out eating through the stock silver? I'd rather not repaint them. I'm just sick of lookin at the paint on there right now. Is there any recomendations on which stripper to use. Thanks yall

I like to paint wheels with the chrome paint. It doesnt look like chrome but it does look like some kind of shiny metal. Trust me chrome paint.
Do not use clearcoat tho as it will ruin it, and do not apply wax as that will also ruin it, the metal particles in the paint are very tempermental....
