the clutch on my a/c compressor is going out or something, it started off squeaking when it engages but now it has moved on to shreaking... so i dont even turn it on anymore and, so i know i have to replace that but would that have anything to do with, when i turn the air off, air still come through the vents like its on just really low. anyone know whats up??

 

my car does that sometimes with a bit of air blowing in with it completely off. i dont worry about it as it has never caused a serious issue.

 

air is drawn in through the cowl, so when you drive air is forced in there no matter what and thats just the way it is for alot of cars...or atleast the range of vehicles ive driven...
