guys i need help i bought 89 crx with integra engine dohc vtec 1.8 problem is fuel pump my car somtime it doesn,t start it cranks when it starts and i drive it stumbles it doesnt go smooth.
will a walbro 255 LPH fuel pump will fit in crx tank or do i have to do modification. please help me with your suggestion.

I don’t think it is your fuel pump. Have you replaced your fuel filter an 18 yo fuel filter could be clogged. Also do a basic tune up and then start from there. That way you will not be taking shots in the dark. Also the walbro will work and does fit, mine came with a kit that had a couple of hoses and crap. You will have to drop the fuel tank to replace it and it does have a tendency to up the fuel pressure making the car run rich.

 

what type of gas are u running? i have a 90 civic with lsvtec and if i run cheap gas, or i'm low on gas... it'll hesitate. then again my motor was built for boost and i already have a walbro installed
