oil filter relocation problems?
I'm thinking about putting an oil filter relocation kit on my stock '91 hatch. Not so much for convenience, but for the advantages of: more oil capacity, better filtering ( two filter kit), and the fact that it would act as an oil cooler by drawing oil away from the engine and through two filters before going back to the engine.. My only concern is that it may lower oil pressure.
Anybody been running one of these kits for a long time? Any issues?
Here's the one I was looking at:

Okay I'm pretty sure the only porblem that could happen to your filter kit is a torn line. But what are the chances of that happening? Your pressure shouldn't drop to much. Look at this site good info. http://hybrid.honda-perf.org/t....html
I run a relocation kit and I don't think it had any negative effects on my oil pressure.
I get about 75-80 psi on cold start up idle,25-30 psi at warm idle(186 degrees) and 75-85 at wot, this is with the kit.I don't have any before numbers but those numbers are well above the stock 50 at 3k and 10 or 25 at idle.
This is on a z6 motor using a universal perma-cool kit,1/2 inch lines and ford oil filter base,so my car now uses mustang v8 size filters.
